wipers, quiet, noise, insects, sniffers, being followed, being called a "role-model," girls, "the normals," spiders, clowns, bright colors, and daytime.
fears .
her fears are simple: heights and disease. she's a germophobic, and hates anything messy. she fears heights after she fell, breaking her back.
strengths .
her watching ability is a great strength, even though it comes in more of a riddle then anything else. she's also quite a smooth talker and a bit of a rabble-rouser, and can get herself out of situations easily.
weaknesses .
her need for attention is a weakness, even if she doesn't always want it. heights and blood are another weakness.
personality .
only three words can really describe aspen well: flirty, demanding, and domineering. her way is the only way in her mind, and if that way is broken, then so is your dignity. she likes to be in control and enjoys the attention of it -- sometimes. aspen tends to make the others feel uneasy and uncomfortable and usually attacks that, which makes her feel even more powerful then she really is. she's small, yes, but her attitude is what counts.
despite her demanding and domineering ways, she may step back and allow others to take control of situations when she can't do it herself. she may feel incompetent sometimes, but the fight won't be over until she gives the word. she will raise a white flag, but that may be a cover up. she seems trusting, but she's like a black widow. don't go near her web.
her father is the famous englishman jonathon hill -- "the drunk of london," as he's also called. abusive and cruel towards her mother, he was soon arrested before the soon-to-be watcher was born. during the late summer, the child came into the world in chicago, where her mother had fled. she was raised by her uncle and mother in an old apartment. aspen hill realized that, over the years, she wasn't a girl who wasn't like most of the girls who ran around. she cared little for boys, even if she enjoyed fluttering a few lashes in their direction, and cared more for school. she was six when she earned her first award in school known as "student of the season," an award printed in christmas that was, unfortunately, something that made the few students happy for being there, meaning very little, really. she was, however, proud nevertheless.
when aspen turned eight, she had grown very little. when she turned ten, her mother left with her to stay with her uncle. she found herself in new orleans for a short time, where she met plenty of friends. she was thirteen when she came into contact with a gentleman, who told her of her serum that made her inhuman, able to see things into the future. she doubted this, but when she turned fourteen, she found out everything he said was true. aspen soon allowed the experiment to be done. ever since then, the girl began to see things, odd as they were.
at the age of seventeen, she eventually dropped out of high school and went on living on her own in the abandoned train station. this, she said, was a perfect way for her to hide and look for the others with the same super-gene serum. she now lives with a bulldog named ruff in the train station.
